DIABLO is a 3-D Lagrangian nonlinear structural-thermal-mechanics analysis code using a time-implicit Finite Element Method (FEM). It employs a low-order continuum (hex) and structural elements (shells & beams) and features a state-of-the-art contact modeling. It is integrated into SHARP multi-physics toolkit to support coupled neutronics and thermo-fluid-structural calculations, and coupled to Nek5000 for a novel high-fidelity flow-induced-vibration (FIV) analysis capability (applied to prediction of FIV in helical steam generators for SMRs).
