Partners
Who are our customers and stakeholders?
-
- Light-water reactor fuel vendors, hardware vendors, and service providers
- Utilities
- Non-light-water reactor vendors
- U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)
- U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
- Universities
How do our customers use our tools?
-
- Vendors can use our codes for design, development, analysis, licensing, and deployment of nuclear systems
- Utilities can use our codes for fuel design, analysis, licensing, and operation of nuclear systems
- The NRC can use our codes to support their review of licensing submittals though confirmatory analysis
Who are we collaborating with?
We have existing collaborations with:
- National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC)
- Nuclear Computational Resource Center (NCRC)
- Advanced Reactor Technology (ART) Program
- Molten Salt Reactor (MSR) Campaign
- Gas-Cooled Reactor (GCR) Campaign
- Fast Reactor Campaign
- Micro-Reactor Program
- Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program (ARDP)
- Fuel Cycle Technologies (FCT) Program
- Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
- Nuclear Energy Advanced Modeling and Simulation (NEAMS) program Industry Councils
How can you collaborate with us?
The NEAMS program collaborates with industry and academia through programs such as the Gateway for Accelerated Innovation in Nuclear (GAIN), National Reactor Innovation Center (e.g., on the Virtual Test Bed) and on related industry funding opportunity announcements with the Small Business Innovation Research Program, and the Nuclear Energy University Program.
To collaborate with NEAMS contact:
David Henderson, DOE-NE Federal Program Manager

What are our industry councils?
In order to fulfill its mission, NEAMS established its LWR and non-LWR Industry Councils, also known as Industry Councils, to provide the program with a representative cross-section of industry input, as it develops broadly applicable modeling and simulation tools.
NEAMS’ Industry Councils assess the NEAMS program for relevance, identify emerging opportunities and national needs specific to the NEAMS program, and promote and support the NEAMS program.
